I guess it is better for tennis this way, foregone conclusions does not help

Can't blame him, even retiring now would be going out in major style but he knows he can still win Wimby and he wants another one badly

No matter what you say, mrzz, it will always be a rivalry. The commentators own it.

Now that we are talking about the rivalry between the two, it is important to think of how absolutely debilitated Roger was after he lost Wimbleton to Rafael and then the next big major against him in Melbourne into thousand nine. To me, those were crushing bosses the changed the whole dynamic.

I want him to do the Atlantic double again. Get to 20 and then he can retire if he wants

Honestly, Moxie, I respect much more a lot of people here than 90% of the commentators, but I see your point

He'll take a page from Sampras.

I'll never forget Nadal's guts when he served at 3-4 down, 5th set in the SF versus Dimitrov. Nadal came to the net three points in a row and saved two break points in that game. Match of the tounament. He abandoned his baseline grinding out game and went forward to the net with class.

Ok, now where are the obnoxious Nadal fans for us to get revenge?

I think Roger clearly knew this young boy was something to behold, but I thought he likely sensed he would get the upper hand eventually. He then 15 out of seven matches going into 2008. Going into thousand eight, Rotha only lead to head to head 8 to 6. The robbery ceased being a rivalry after the Australian open in 2009 for the most part. Better mentally was on able to keep up with him.

Thanks, RZ. I do feel he didn't have the legs for this match.
