If Sam goes out in her first rd match,I dont care if she is Aussie, she should seriously think of skipping The Aussie Summer of Tennis...I am not joking.

When did Simon Rea,Sams' new coach decided to come on court,I am not talking about GS events that isnt allowed,I have watched him in other tournaments.Dave Taylor never did that by the way.

A marathon 10 minute game won by Sloane. Looks like there is some fight here. But this
match is both hard on eyes and ears.

2014 Sloane wouldn't have fought so hard for that point...so I see that change from Annacone and Saviano...a lot more fist pumping as well.

I am refusing to watch Stosur's match, quite frankly I dont need the grief.

Here's a novel idea. If you got DVD or Blu Ray recorder with hard drives. Tape these matches maybe even the entire days play and watch the matches another time whether you know the result or not. This is waht I do by and large. Makes it easier to fast forward the adds, players time wasting between points, going off the court, and all the annoying crossing from one match to the next.

Sloane had a lot of great shots during this match and stayed aggressive...once she cleans up those unforced errors she should be back on track. Congrats Vika :)

That's an awful lot of work, and time spent burning discs. Why not just use a DVR? You can fast forward, rewind, pause, etc.

Even though Sloane lost, I am liking the new direction the coach is taking her. Once, she cleans up the errors, she should make some noise again.

Yay Im happy Vika won. I just want her to get more matches under her belt. I have a feeling she'll start to really shine again in the American spring swing. For now if she can at least take Caroline to 3 she should be showing progression.

Second set was a bit different as Caroline consistency was deciding and she won comfortably 62. Caroline in this mood much of the match - nice to see :)

No upsets so far. All seeded players won.

See, yesterday's events they got my expectations up. :devil But, 11 more seeds are still to
take the court or playing. Let us wait patiently.
