Congrats to Ana Ivanovic for winning her first title in a long time. It would be nice to get her back in the mix to keep things interesting. She is too talented to not be taking a top 5 or top 10 scalp here and there and be challenging for bigger titles.

Happy for Ivanovic, and I really do hope great things for her 2014. She and Jankovic are two that seem to be back. I'd like to see it from Wozniaki, too. I don't care for streaking and fading. Here's to a strong field in 2014. As to Venus, I think she may be at victory lap stage. I hope she goes out strong.
