Sounds like I'm hitting up Cincy. Unbeknownst to me my rich brother in New York decided to get tickets for us already. He went a few days last year and really enjoyed it. And I'm sure he will want to do a week at the USO again but I think if I go to Cincy I'm not going to USO this time.

That's fun! I'll probably manage a couple of days at the USO. I like to go the first week and see lots of players. Or that is, if work doesn't get in the way. (Monte Carlo and RG are my dreams for the future…hopefully while Rafa is still in great form.)

Yep, the grounds passes in week 1 is the way to go unless you want to shell out really big $$ to see the semis/finals. In 09 we did the 4th round mens andwomen QF's for 2 days at Ashe in crappy seats for the same amount of money as Monday - Saturday this past US Open. We went to 1 set of Federer's 2nd round match and the seats were so lousy compared to the other courts that we left. In 09 we didn't know any better.

Agree with you moxie. I have been going to USO every year for many years. Always go in the first week only and enjoy the outer courts. Also see good matches on Grandstand and Armstrong stadium. I don't like Rather Ashe stadium.

Ashe stadium is a disgrace. Pure and simple. I grew up going to Armstrong, and Ashe can't hold a candle to the electric atmosphere that used to be palpable in Armstrong.

I agree. It's too big. Love Armstrong (where at least I got to see Rafa and Safin once each, and Del Potro.) And the Grandstand. Haven't gotten into the new #17 yet. Apparently that's a great new court, and fills up quickly with an interesting match.

I'd love to but it will probably be next year.

Like the pictures at the start of the thread. Was wondering, what's generally the policy on cameras and picture taking for the general public at these events?

Well everyone knows what happen to my semifinals tickets in Miami this past April, I wouldnt wish that on any tennis fan. However, I may come to Cincy.
