grass beast cuevas is unstoppable..career grass wins go from 2 to 5 this week

. its a quiet week atp250 so I don't think the top blokes at wimby will be quivering with fear just yet.
Since 30 is the new 22 in tennis, I guess Cuevas has decided to remake himself as a grass-courter. :yoda:

Semi-Finals
(2) Pablo Cuevas Defeats (8) Gilles Muller 36 76 64
(6) Steve Johnson Defeats (7) Andreas Seppi

So we'll have Cuevas vs Johnson final tomorrow.
I have to go with the irony of JLLB's shout-out. Cuevas has more grass wins in this tournament than in the whole rest of his career. He beat Gilles Muller?! What goes on? I'd like to pick Stevie Johnson for the win here, but Cuevas is overall a stronger player, and a new #grassgod. So who knows?

Would be great if Cuevas took this... although my prediction is Johnson gets it done.
As a Yank, I have to pull for Stevie, but just for the hilarity factor, I'd love to see Cuevas win a grass title.
