Anyone watch Woz/Watson?
I caught the latter stages of the match, it was a struggle for Caro to get past Heather, the match ended with UE from Watson.

With Pliskova having a full day off thanks to Konta's injury withdrawal, Karolina not only has the power advantage but also better rested.

H2H is 4-1 in favor of Woz with split results in 2017

Yeah it means a lot that you have a day off where your oponent has a big struggle so that's why Caroline lost. The same happened in Doha and was even worse because Caroline had to play two matches the day before the final which again was against Pliskova. In Miami Pliskova lost in 3 sets in a match where both players had the same conditions - so let them meet again in the Wimbledon final under equal conditions and I think Caroline will win. She's not that far away today just a little bit more tired IMHO.
