I don't say that the final was bad, it was good, some good short points, very few long ones but of course the serve/aces were the huge main protagonist of the match, now you now me, pim pam pum. Fortunately the game looks different in Wimbledon though I never forget the 36 aces by Kyrgios...ugh

Today's match was a good one to watch..Great shot making and a few penalties..Did you see the time violations that Cilic received, it was over 50 seconds and he should have had a point taken away the very next point(over 35 seconds , even the crowd became annoyed) but that would have been excessive and unfair. The match had great rallies and you could tell both players was at their very best..The unfortunate thing about grass court tennis, this is not the norm. It's a absolutely lethal surface for baseliners who rather grind and construct their points rather than chip n charge to take control of the net.
Watching the replay the tie-break of the third set has been the best in all the ways and yes, Cilic bounced the ball 400 times, I've never seen something like that

Just FYI, he won a title on dirt, just last year. He's still a Spaniard, after all.

Deliciano has won 41% of his matches at RG and 68% of his matches at Wimby. Deliciano has never reached QF at RG but has reached QF at Wimby three times. By and large a very clean Spaniard.

For the record, they're all clean. And rather sweet-smelling. They don't all play the kind of tennis that appeals to you, I guess. Or when they do, like Nadal, it still smells a bit of the barnyard. That might be your own prejudice.

Are you talking about the serve?

Not a word from me. Wonder why that is. Could it be because in the Halle thread I told you I didn't watch this match? Yet another post you didn't read properly. Take a bow and a cookie.
