Yastremska gets the early break and leads 4-2.one of the things I love about her,is her footwork, adjusting all the time and has plenty of time to play her shot, also a great mover.
Yastremska wins the 1st set 64 and then calls her coach? I have no idea why,she is playing well, she must remember she wont be able to call him at GS tournaments.
Yastremsaka broke early in the 2nd set, though 3 DFS in her service game, she was broken, back on serve 3 games all.
Sabalenka needs to address her 2nd serve,Yastremsaka is getting free points, also she is not as consistent as she was in her q/final match.
Sabalenka had chances to break Yastremsaka later in the 2nd set,but could not convert,6 games all,t.break to commence.
Yastremska d Sabalenka 64 76(4) played to her strength's in the t/break has a great change of direction and also solid defensive skill's when needed.A good tournament for Sabalenka she can go into the AO with confidence, just needs to have more controlled aggression on her shots.
Yastremska first player through to the final well deserved!
