Back to back titles, one on clay, then hard, his 24th title, 3rd this year, ranking back up to No. 8, what else? Great year so far for Ferrer!

:clap:clap:clap:clap 4-time Acapulco Champ!

At the beginning of last year, Ferrer openly said that he is feeling the effects of aging.

I actually thought Ferrer will slow down this year and get out of top 8. But, it looks like
he is getting reinvigorated.

He did got out of the top 8, because he finished last year ranked 10. Remember he was an alternate at the WTF.
That statement of feeling his age was back then, now he states he will try to stay in the top 10 as long as he can. It is working for now

Congratulations to Ferrer, he really fought hard to win this, very well deserved. So the match up issue and Kei having advantage over Ferrer didn't materialize here. Any given day, everything is possible.:D

I meant to say top 10 and mistyped in hurry.

Looks like at this rate, he may even make it to London this year, despite missing out last year.
I think he is the player with most titles at this point of the year. Two 500s Rio and Acapulco and
one 250 Doha.
