This is addictive! 10 attempts, but now I'm taking a break. Maths isn't my strong suit, it seems - highest square - 256...

If you guys don't have enough to do, I've found a pretty good language program. I actually think it's helpful. Rather than pushing 2's, 4's and 8's around, you could be learning Italian!

Arrrggggghhhh! I'm hooked on this bloody game! Maybe St Patrick will help me today? Oh, I bet he's too busy. What's the method? There has to be a strategy, a system. I can't get above 512... :nono

One thing I do is when I get to the 200s or higher, I park the big numbers up top, 4 of them, and never move them down. I am still at 1024 though...

I honestly have not paid attention to that at all. I am inpatient, so I play pretty fast. I should slow down...

Yeah, I play fast too. I think another useful strategy might be for me to pay attention when a score gets into 200 and there's about 6 free tiles. Blocking the squares up with disconnected 8's isn't doing me any favours... :nono

I did it 1st time in 20 minutes though I'd probably have spent my time better writing a poem. I wish I could do Moxie's Italian course but unfortunately I've got no sound on my P.C. so I'll have to buy a book & C.D. set. I did learn a bit of Italian but my Italian comprises of

I guess I could feed myself in Italy. I wouldn't be eating a balanced diet & wouldn't be able to sleep very well because of all the coffee but I could still feed myself.
