That makes sense. Fils feels like he's "edging" (ahem) a breakout performance. It is a bit away still, but I could see him sneaking out a late season Masters - maybe Canada or Paris. He might be my top choice for next new Masters winner.
I think it was a wise decision, seeing he made the SFs in Miami, his next scheduled clay tournament is Barcelona

Holger Rune is set for his comeback at Hamburg in May..
With that type of severe injury? I'll believe when he actually walks on court for his first match, way too early in my opinion, usually the rehab is around 9 to 12 months, especially for an athlete playing tennis, we use to get a lot of football players coming into emergency with the same achilles rupture tear that needed surgery, most were out for 12 months,

I know. But he has worked with specialist in Dubai at a training facility who specialize in this kind of injury. Spend a lot of money to get the best care and expertice in this.

I have watched a few videos of him in rehab, I just dont want him to come back too soon that is all, after all the hard rehab work., hopefully he will be okay to return in Hamburg in May

I'm pretty sure the medical team woun't let him start too soon. And even if he is a hotheaded guy who wants to get back as soon as possible I really don't think he will jeopardise his whole tennis future...

Roland Garros entry cutoff is this Monday 13th April,
Big winner last week was Wu Yibing, who rose 13 spots after Sarasota CH title to get to No 102

What a prick. She handled it well: "Its ok, you're going to be ok."

Maybe he's trying to "neg" her?
Agree he was just trying to niggle Sabalenka, nice try but he was the one in the end that looked totally foolish, she put him in his place!

The Roland Garros entry lists have been released on Tuesday,
Stan Wawrinka will need a wild card to avoid the qualifying round, dropped 3 spots to No 107, following an opening defeat in Monte Carlo,he missed the cut off point, personally speaking, I feel Wawrinka should be granted a main draw wild card, as he is a former champion at Roland Garros

Dimitrov fell back 42 spots to No 135 after dropping to 2-7 last week he also missed the cut off point,, he will need a wild card, if not he will be in the qualifying rounds of Roland Garros

Last in,
#103 Hijikata
First alternatives
#104 Merida
#105 Arnaldi

Using protected ranking,
Zhang and Kokkinakis

Withdrew before the list was out,
#71 Cazaux.

Alcaraz has withdrawn from Barcelona after having tests on his wrist this morning, apparently it is more serious than they expected, .
