Ben Navarro just announced on Tennis Channel that the Charleston Open will be paying equal prize money to that of the ATP500 events starting in 2026.He says the prize money will be doubled what what it is currently is.

Tom Hill who has been the coach of Peyton Stearns for the last 12 months has decided to end his coaching arrangement.
During the 12 months, Stearns achieved her 1st WTA title, career high in rankings both singles and doubles, first Top Ten win
Stearns is yet to find a new coach.

Zheng has withdrawn from next weeks WTA500 Porsche Stuttgart Tennis Tournament ( at this stage no reason for the withdrawal)
Jabeur has withdrawn with a ongoing leg issues, she retired in the 3rd round of the Miami Open against Paolini
Krejcikova ( back) she has not played since making the SFs of the WTA Finals in October in 2024.

The Goddess has slipped back to the 80 in ranking I think her and Tom Hill have had their days, they were together for around 10 years
Tom is a good coach, maybe Jazz could reach out to him

Kazakhstan too strong in singles for Aust
Impressed with Rybakina, pity she cannot take that form into the WTA tour

the American team will look to beat Slovakia for the first time in 3 tries and avenge the 2 nations most recent meeting, which Sloakia narrowly eliminated the US from the 2024 finals in a 3rd set TB, tomorrows winner qualifies for the Eight Nations Finals,
USA has defeated Slovakia, with Pera and Baptiste winning their singles tie.
Japan is the last country to book their place in the finals, after they defeated Canada in the doubles tie.

Main draw begins Monday 14th April,
There will be a Monday singles final this year on April 21 as there will be no matches contested on Good Friday holiday
Zheng, Jabeur and Krejcikova have withdrawan
Elena Rybakina the defending champion, opted out to defend her title this year, as she played the BJK Cup instead
Main draw wild cards have gone to the Top 4 German WTA ranking players, Eva Lys, Tatjana Maria, Laura Siegemund and Jule Niemier.
The Top 4 seeds Sabalenka, Swiatel, Pegula and Gauff receive first round byes.

Marta Kostyuk has withdrawn she was R/U last year at Stuggart, she will now drop at least 10 points to No 35 in the rankings, she was schedule to play Mirra Andreeva in R 1, Erika Andreeva LL, Mirra's older sister will now player Mirra in round 1
Rebecca Scramkova has also withdrawn, her place will be taken in the draw by another LL Sara Errani
