Keys was all over place. Still think she's in AO fog. I heard Anna is not dating Red anymore. That true?

Ana really needed that win, her form this year has been dismal to say the least, I think their dating days are over., though lets see what happens when Red comes back to the tour in Rome

Defending champion Collins came out very strong in the 1st set winning 61 against the No 1 seed Pegula
Jess has just righted the ship down 0-2 in the 2nd set fought back to win it 63
Going 3 in the 1st QF
Wowser,'
Jess won 12 of the last 13 games to win and gave the defending champion a bagel
Pegula (1) d Collins (14) 16 63 60

A lovely clean striker of the ball, Alexandrova claims her 3rd Top Ten win of the year defeating Zheng (3) 61 64 to make the SFs
Kenin continues her form on the clay defeating Kalinskaya (14) 64 63

The last time 3 Americans reached the SFs in this tournament was 2003
Pegula, Kenin and the winner of Navarro v Anisimova

A lot of breaks in the 2nd set, 5 to be exact went to a TB which Amanda won comfortably
Anisimova (8) d Navarro (4) 75 76(1)

Sofia is on fire this week. I was worried she'd have a setback after swallowing doub donuts in MIA. Which begs the question, why Iga and Coco don't play here. It's not like they made the finals in MIA

Wow. What a headcase. I've seen this chick lose so many matches she was in control of. No wonder she's never won anything bigger than a 250

In a match with many Twists and Turns especially in the final set, Pegula wins 75
Pegula d Alexandrova 62 26 75.
Jess awaits the winner of Kenin v Anisimova to play in the final
BTW Jess has no points to defend after Charleston ( up coming clay season)

Sad for Amanda, getting treatment for her right hip early in the 1st set, apart from her clean ball striking Amanda has improved her defense this year
Kenin wins via retirement 5-2 and will play Pegula in the final

WTA 500 Charleston
Ladies Singles Final
Sunday 6th April,

J. Pegula (1) vs S.Kenin Jess leads their H2H 3-2 most recent meeting was at the USO 2024 2nd round which Jess won

If you talk about 'consistency' so far this year from a player look no further than Jessica Pegula,
Jess is into her 4th final of 2025.After losing in the SFs the last 2 years in a row, Jess is into her first Charleston final.

Sofia Kenin unseeded has been in great form winning all her matches in straight sets, though in her SF Anisimova had to retire down 2-5 due to a right hip injury.

First all American final at Charleston since Navratilova defeated Capriati in the 1990 final.

Ladies final has begun with Pegula breaking for a early lead 2-0 over Kenin
Kenin has broken back a 'topsy turvy' 1st set so far, Kenin showed nerves early, seems to have found her game leads 3-2
A very good crowd in attendance for the final
A wild bhand from Kenin and Pegula breaks to love, question is can Pegula consolidate the break?
Pegula extends the lead 5-3
Pegula with a couple of SP as Kenins wild bhand appears again
Pegula wins the 1st set 63 more consistent throughout the 1st set

Pegula with good 1st serve percantage, W 8 UFE 8
Kenins downfall is her UFE 23 to W 12, she will have to tidy up her UFE count in the 2nd set

Wind has picked up and breaks of serve early in the 2nd set with Kenin breaking again and leads 2-1 can she hold her serve and consolidate the lead? yes she does and leads 3-1
Pegula struggling on her 1st serve early in the 2nd set, needs to adjust.
Pegula with a very sloppy service game, is broken to love from Kenin, who leads 4-1 and is in control of the 2nd set
Kenin leads 5-1 and has adjusted to the windy conditions in this 2nd set, better than Pegula
Pegula breaks Kenin serving for the 2nd set 5-2
Pegula to serve 3-5
Kernin will try for a second time to serve out the 2nd set 5-4
Jess with a BP as Kenin DFs and is broken, Jess was down 1-5 and has improved her baseline game and has found her serve in the latter parts of the 2nd set and Jess makes you play one more shot and has a very solid defensive game
5 all 2nd set
Pegula witha love service game and now Kenin will serve to force a TB for the 2nd set

Jess Pegula has 3 CH points as Kenin has Imploded and DFs
Jess Pegula d Kenin 63 75 her first title at Charlston, Jess was down 1-5 in the 2nd set and mentality and fighting ability came back to win the title
Well deserved title Jess, this is Jess 2nd title so far this year.and her 8th WTA career title
Jess Pegula will be back at a career high of No 3 replacing Gauff as the top American player
