World No 17 Diana Shnaider who had been working with Spain's Carlos Martinez since the start of the grass season, by mutual consent their partnership has ended,, Martinez a highly experienced coach. who has worked with Halep, Kuznetsova, Kasatkina, Tauson, Marc Lopez and Feliciano Lopez.Martinez is now back in Barcelona, which is where his academy is, CMC Competition is located
Meanwhile Shnaider's next coaching experience will be with Sasha Bajin, it has not been publicly confirmed if the two are currently conducting a trial or if some agreement has already been made.Bajin, is best known for his work with Osaka between 2017 and 2019, has also mentored Karolina Pliskova and Donna Vekic,

Another impressive 1st set from Clara Tauson, won the 1st set 61 over Keys, who is making too many UFE at present also needs to get her first serve percentage up from 56% compared to Tauson 1st serve percentage at 73%

The USO 2025 prize money sets a record for the largest purse in tennis history,
The womens singles champion will take home $5 million, up 39% from the $3.6 million awarded in 2024, making it the largest winning payout in the sport
For the first time ever, the winning teams in the womens doubles and mixed doubles will take home $1 million in prize money

Well done to Gauff/Kessler who are the Doubles Champions in Monteral defeating the 3rd seeds Townsend/Zhang 64 16 13-11
I thought after the 2nd set Townsend/Zhang had the momentum, they did have a mini break early in the TB, not to be.

The team Kessler - Gauff went all the way and won the doubles title. It was a last minute team so they will probably play together another time, Kessler jumped 65 places and is now #54. Gauff jumped 123 places and is now #60 - quite good me thinks ;)

Looks like Mboko's come back to Earth! She's getting "worked" by Rybakina! Nice litle consolation Gauff taking the doubles w/ Kessler! :fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:
You are actually watching a womens match? It is 3 all in the 2nd set so I would not call that 'getting worked over' Vicky did have a break and Elena just broke back, I picked Elena to win, she has more experience for starters, this is Vicky's first WTA1000 SF and she has beaten some good players along the way like Coco Gauff in straight sets
BTW Vicky started the year with a ranking of No 333, presently she is Top 50

Going 3 sets now in the match between Rybakina and Mboko as Vicky broke the serve of Rybakina before going to a TB winning 7-5
Vicky had a ball fall on her wrist early in the 3rd set now having a MTO and the wrist is getting strapped
Rybakina gets a break, Vicky did fall hard on her wrist, affecting her play at present which is understandable
Elena serving for the match at 5-4 and Vicky with 2 great ROS and she breaks Elena
5 games all 3rd set
Vicky DF and handed the break to Elena lets see if Elena can serve out the match for a second time?
Vicky breaks back to love and there will be a TB for the 3rd set
Wow Vicky wins the TB 76 (4) and is into her first WTA1000 final
Take a bow Vicky you played fearless tennis in that 3rd set TB and deserved your win,
