Kvitova, Pliskova, Rybakina, Jaberur, Haddad Maia and Ostapenko all in the same quarter, along with Cornet and Rogers ( who can be giant killers)

Bottom half of the draw is Loaded
Top Half of the draw is more balanced

I'm almost 100% sure that a Pegula vs. Garcia QF isn't happening. If you're looking for a surprise, it's probably going to come from that quarter.

Both players have injuries, coming into Wimbledon, Jess with her back and Caroline with her right shoulder

After Iga Swiatek withdrew from the SF at Bad Homburg tournament, with a GI illness ( suspected food poisoning), she will start her campaign on Monday against Zhu Lin, Swiatek say's she's finding her rhythm quicker on the grass court this year. Swiatek noted, transition from Roland Garros to Wimbledon can be tricky with quick turnaround time between events.
If Swiatek wins Wimbledon she will become the first player since Serena Williams in 2015 to win Roland Garros and Wimbledon in the same year.

As I posted in the WTA News, Sakkari has been seen coaching from Mark Philippousis, again, along her with long time coach Tom Hill, still no word from Sakkari if Mark P is going to be a permanent coach to her team, or maybe she just added him for the grass season, which by the way is short ( Mark P was a former coach to Stef Tsitsipas which ended a few months ago)

Elina Svitolina had kind words for Venus Williams before their match at Wimbledon ( both players received WC's)

" It's just really impressive. I don't know if I will be playing at this age and will be in this great shape playing with such passion. Lots of respect to her in so many ways" ( source Tennis Letter).
