The real question is which one would Novak prefer NOT to Play against on Sunday..I truly felt like Chris Eubanks could be the type of player who can make the game very uncomfortable for Novak.

I don't think he wants to see either one in the final. He's likely wondering why Tits couldn't make it happen on the grass.

I think the mad Russian really may be more dangerous to Novak than Carlitos at this stage in their careers. His wingspan and long range really bothers Novak's game.

Yeah that could happen, especially if Danii arrives ready to fight. I like Eubanks game, by the way, very fluent relaxed way of playing. Love his backhand. Hope he continues to improve..

This is the truth. Novak got it way too easy in last few slam finals, Kyrgios, Tits and Ruud.

He dodged a bullet in SF of RG. It would be ironic if the kid beats him in the final on grass just a few weeks later. Novak would probably prefer a familiar opponent like Daniil, but either way it's going to be a tough match.

As for this match, hard to pick, but I will stick with Alcaraz because he's got all the tools to beat Daniil. He did it easily this year in IW, that should boost his confidence.

I'm so glad I took off tomorrow. It's pretty much a tradition for me, since they added a week in between the French Open and Wimbledon, to take off the day of the men's semifinals to celebrate my birthday. Next year, like in 2019, the men's semifinals will fall on my actual birthday.

I'll probably leave, though, in between matches to pick up my cake.

Yeah Eubanks has a very nice game. Sure isn't boring tall man servebot only tennis.

Yes, I was able to watch the 2nd set. The match was pretty much even. The difference was that Carlos took advantage of every little opening.

I always wonder about the fitness of Alcaraz so if it's a physical match then Medvedev could outlast him. They'll both be doing a ton of running. Won't get to see it most likely but Medvedev needs to play more aggressively than his rope a dope weak shots he employs often and I like Medvedev but not when he plays like that. When you're tall and have big firepower, use it as much as you can!

As I said in posts here Alcaraz has to play his own game, yes Meddy is dangerous and can force you to make errors FE's errors, still I feel he has improved on grass especially his return game, which will have to be 'on' against Meddy. Meddy to his credit as well as improved on the grass, though he was pushed to 5 sets by Chris Eubanks, who has a wonderful game on grass.
I am picking Alcaraz in 4 sets.

Both have said interesting things about each others' games. Alcaraz says that Medvedev is like an "Octopus," which is a pretty good description. Meddie says that Charlie, even more than the Big 3, will hit a kill shot before you even get a chance to rally. I don't believe that Medvedev's game is merely "metronomic," nor that he will lull Alcaraz into playing it. I think they both have varied games and imaginative improvisational skills. I also think it will be a fascinating match. Does a little bit more age and experience win out? Does youthful bravado take the day over a Medvedev who can get a little "Hamlet," as you like to say? Hard one to call.
