With this win Marketa will break into the Top 10 when the new rankings come out on Monday, she rose 32 places with this win ( her previous career high was No14th)

Just thinking about the match more, I really felt Ons peaked with her win over Saba and she just looked flat from the beginning of this match, not making excuses for Ons, to win a GS title is tough you have to be ' on your game' especially in a GS final, Ons has been here before 3 times, twice at Wimbledon and the other at the USO, Of course nerves play a part in a final, even the great players of the past will tell you that, still our game is soo mental, your mental strength is a big plus, when your game isnt at times, players can win ugly and still get over the line.Ons will need more time to get over this loss. Marketa played to win and she deserved the title.
