They're doing that out of some need for fair play. They don't want any player on this side of the draw to have an advantage of more rest because their match was played later in the day. And the women are playing first because they have to come back and play SF tomorrow.
Fair enough, just hard for me, when I have 2 matches up on my computer screen, at least they could have asked me first before they went ahead with the scheduling :)

No, yesterday the men began first on Center and the women began first on Court 1.
OK. Then they put both women's matches on today because they have to come back and play SF tomorrow

If I remember well both matches (men) played almost at the same time too

I have been campaigning to have him on the Rafa's team.. Paul likes Rafa's game and always have great things to say about it.
The dude is 100 years old. How many more coaches does he need to add to his growing entourage? :thinking-face:

Rafa has enough coaches at present for 2 players he dosent need another one.He has 3 already, plus the ear of Uncle Toni

Bit surprised to see Mery in the players box, seeing COVID is rampant in London I thought she may stay at home, being pregnant
I will watch this match in peace and harmony from my couch and also with 'colm'.

Rafa opened with the break, but Fritz just got it back now for 3-3.

He started hot and then started looking tired, and it Fritz who's looking fresh and hot.

Agree. Much fairer but hard for spectators cos you can't watch both or either if you're working :(

Can this be about the mystery taping on the ab that he didn't want to talk about? Not saying it's always about injury, but that was 2 x DF in one game..so far.

I think that’s certainly a factor. Did you see him miss that 1st serve, then bend over in pain? Just asked for a trainer too. Not looking good …

Rafa calls for the trainer. Even if he should win this set, he's not looking like he can last 2 more after that.

I did see that. He doesn't look like he can do the long run.

I have a feeling he’s going to retire soon. He shook his head while looking up at his box as he walked off court.
I hope so or my bet is screwed haha. Garin is clowning against Kyrgios too and have that as result over 35.5 games which isn't looking good!

Have both to win a set in Fritz v Nadal.

Sucks for Rafa. After a great start. Hope he doesn't make the injury worse playing on.

In all honesty how bad can it possibly be when he's ahead in the set. If he wins the set and steamrolls him or goes on to win then we've all seen this before many times.
