So much for 19 year olds needing to recover from 5 hour matches. Alcaraz doesn't look tired, at all.

Alcaraz on fire...nothing for Tiafoe to do, it seems.

Alcaraz racquet head speed is just incredible, he slides into a shot with ease

The longer the rally goes Alcaraz draws an error from his opponent
Tiafoe has to do more on Alcaraz 2nd serve
Okay he returned better on the 1st serve lol!
He broke back

ks kate2, how are you going? Got a question. How come the men's semifinals has a 3pm start Eastern Standard Time but corresponding women's do not? They're 6 PM E.S.T.

Not so fast, people. Frances gets things back on serve.

Think it's high time given the the modern style of play, that the men's singles be reduced as best of three sets maybe upto the semifinal rounds, don;t you?

Well done Alcaraz he is just relentless, much better in the longer rallies, being brought up on clay, it teaches you to be more patient in a rally.

If Frances gets the fourth set and ALCARAZ prevails in the 5th, it will be third match in a row he's won in 5, correct?

Hi Vince! That's an easy one. The bottom half of women's draw plays QF on Wed. That means they have to come back the next day and play SF on Thurs. That's why the women's SF are held in primetime so they could have Fri off and the final on Sat. Years ago, they played the women's draw like this: top half QF on Tues, bottom half QF on Wed. Both SF on Fri starting at Noon. Women's final was held on Sat afternoon sandwich between 2 men's SF. Something they used to call Super Saturday. The men had to come out and play the final the next day on Sun. No one got a day off between the SF and F. Now everyone does.

I love that they always make fun of what a mess Frances makes around his chair.
