Haha. Somebody waved a #1 flag in his face.So much for 19 year olds needing to recover from 5 hour matches. Alcaraz doesn't look tired, at all.
NOThink it's high time given the the modern style of play, that the men's singles be reduced as best of three sets maybe upto the semifinal rounds, don;t you?
I have not seen this either, yet. Got it recording on the old faithful at present, this one..Not so fast, people. Frances gets things back on serve.
Hi Vince! That's an easy one. The bottom half of women's draw plays QF on Wed. That means they have to come back the next day and play SF on Thurs. That's why the women's SF are held in primetime so they could have Fri off and the final on Sat. Years ago, they played the women's draw like this: top half QF on Tues, bottom half QF on Wed. Both SF on Fri starting at Noon. Women's final was held on Sat afternoon sandwich between 2 men's SF. Something they used to call Super Saturday. The men had to come out and play the final the next day on Sun. No one got a day off between the SF and F. Now everyone does.ks kate2, how are you going? Got a question. How come the men's semifinals has a 3pm start Eastern Standard Time but corresponding women's do not? They're 6 PM E.S.T.
