While I'm as excited to see the next great player emerge, there's a part of me that wants to see Ruud win this. Carlos is going to win a bunch of Slams, while Ruud might only have a few real chances (i.e. finals).

I didn't look into it, Mox, but pretty sure it is a first. I suppose the quickest way to research it is to narrow the field to Slamless finalists...there will be a bunch, but not an overwhelming amount.
