The night session quarter final between Nadal and Djokovic on May 31 generated 666,000 viewers.This surpassed the previous single-match record of 511,000 viewers, set by the same players at last year's French Open, in a semi final on June 11, 2021.

I actually heard McEnroe say that, (though I think it was a "headstand.") In any case, even when you watch Rafa in that CNN interview, he has a hard time denying that his 14 wins at Roland Garros is unbeatable. First of all, you have to PLAY RG at least 14 times. Swiatek is the only one on track. So, if she wins every single RG title from now until she is 34 (35?) years old, she could pass Rafa. Obviously, no man has even begun the count. (Federer, Novak and Stan are the only active players on the men's side with a win at RG. They'll never make it.)

Nadal - Ruud 4.6 millions (39.4% audience share) peak at 6.4 million
Biggest viewership since 2012 for mens final ( I would think because Rafa was going for his 14th title,that would be a factor)

Here's an amazing stat from Rafael Nadal in Roland Garros Finals:

Since 2017 Roland Garros (Nadal turned 31 years old), Nadal has ONLY lost one set in the RG Finals. Dominic Thiem won 7-5 in the 2nd set of the 2019 RG, but lost sets 3 and 4, 6-1 (both sets). Basically, since turning 30 years old, Nadal is 5-0 at RG Finals and won 15 of 16 sets (93.8%) in those five finals. In those 15 sets won, he handed out 2 bagels and 3 breadsticks. Oh by the way, ZERO tiebreakers in those 16 sets.
