no, she plainly choked. Because she did it against Mertens and Cornet. She had big leads, and both times served for the set and was broken. She was able to turn those matches in her favor though. A lot harder to do against #1 at home

BTW thanks for the reply regarding SOFIE KENIN who won here two years ago.

I was not aware she had been ill with the covid-19 virus. That was a great A.O. womens final 2020 and as i remember, she really thrived under pressure and came up with the goods. I think i posted it here early last year.
