Stefanos Tsitsipas,

"Coaching on every point should be allowed in tennis. The sport needs to embrace it.We're probably one of the only global sports that dosen't use coaching during play.Make it legal. It's abut time the sport takes a big step forward".

Terrible idea. I am totally against it. It will completely change the individual nature of the sport.

Agreed 100% and Tsitsipas should be ashamed of himself for saying this. Big step forward my ass. The correct answer to everything he said is the polar opposite. That's how wrong he is. If you can't figure out how to win on your own, choose another sport.

I agree with Nick Kyrgios reply to Stefanos on Twitter,

"On the tennis court it's a level playing field.I think it's the beauty of the sport.I think we should figure it out alone and get the advice before and after."

Exactly. Your coach tells you hit to his backhand, make him run as you hit angles etc but this is before the match, not during. None of this I'm losing badly, what do I do? Please help me team! I know it's cheating but I'm lame and have no pride or shame! :thumbs-down:

Plus, aren't they always trying to speed up the game? The on-court coaching slows things down, IMO. But mainly, yes, I agree...it's an individual sport, and whatever you didn't get before the match, too bad.

Tstispus has exposed himself..he CAN'T problem solve without the aid of Daddy's assistance. If I was his opponent, I would tell the umpire to watch big daddy closing during the entirety of the match and would have the lines watching him on the changeovers.

Tsitsi is becoming second Kyrgios - aka Clown par se. So tennis to become like basketball - awful idea. I remember Henin, she got massage from coach written on the paper. Once Jelena Janković was addressed by coach and she was fined.

The Young Greek's dad has got numerous warning's in regards to 'coaching from the stands'....maybe the umpires need to give his son a point penalty.maybe then he will stop it.

I don't think those two players are comparable in any way. While they may rail against the system, I don't think their complaints are that similar.
