Hopefully I won’t get censored and my post won’t be deleted for saying this, but you are getting way ahead of yourself. I like Medvedev’s game but his serve is shaky and he can be way too defensive at times. He has a long way to go before becoming #1, especially with Djokovic being as good as ever. Djokovic isn’t going anywhere.

Medvedev's game is like Djokovic's but with more power. The only advantage Djokovic has over Medvedev is his movement (Medvedev isn't bad at all, but Djokovic is obviously the better mover). Otherwise Medvedev has a bigger and better game and he will win this year's USO (only the USO King Nadal could have stopped him). After he wins his first slam he will gain so much confidence and become even stronger as a player and mentally.

Djokovic is finished! He won Cincinnati by barely surviving Bautista Agut and Raonic. His level wasn't all that great, solid matches against the likes of Struff are not something impressive. Also the USO incident will destroy him. I have no doubt that Medvedev will become no.1 although I'm still unsure if Thiem can reach it first. Nadal will most likely get back the no.1 ranking at some point too. This was a free tennis lesson that I'm giving you so read my post again in case you missed something, you will learn a lot.

As usual you can’t control your loathing of Djokovic and it causes you to belch out utter nonsense. Djokovic’s only advantage over Medvedev is better movement? Lol. How about the fact that he does not stand 20 feet behind the baseline, is much more consistently offensive, and returns better and closer to the baseline? Not to mention that Djokovic closes matches much better, unlike Medvedev who has a serious problem finishing contests he should win (see both of his losses to Nadal at the end of last year). Djokovic’s game is quicker and more compact from the baseline in. Medvedev is often too reactive and too dependent on terrific defense from way behind the court (even though his defense is something I respect, the way he gets pushed back is a problem for him in any comparison with Djokovic).

And for you to say Djokovic is “finished” is utterly stupid. He just started a season 26-0 for crying out loud. He is only beginning a new era of dominance, and I hope you enjoy it.

I don't see why you should be censored or deleted for saying that. Front started promoting Medvedev for #1 around this time last year. When I looked at Djokovic's weeks at #1, I started to get why. Same with Nadalfan2013, if you ask me. Call me conspiratorial, but it does look like a Fed fan and a Nadal fan wishing for someone to block Djokovic in his weeks at #1. It's worth remembering that, while the #3 slot has changed more than a few hands, only 4 players have even reached #2 since 2005. And there's a pretty solid point differential between the top 2 and the rest, even now. I like Medvedev for a future #1, too, but "near future" would need some help. Djokovic isn't anywhere, nor, I would say, is Nadal. Break that glass ceiling, first.

Interested to hear your calculation.
really on how well medvedev plays in first half of next season because there he can gain a lot of points we all know he can play great tennis in us series and Asian swing but he needs better Results on clay, grass ect.. if he can do this than yes I think he can became world number one. of course frozen rankings thing could help djokovic stay longer at number one, Nadal can get back to number one as well and is more likely in my opinion.

That's not really a calculation, is it. Even as the up-coming point system is mysterious, yes, the most likely to retake #1 is Nadal. Medevev has, heretofore, had abysmal results on clay, so he doesn't just need "better" ones, he needs to show up. Plus, does anyone even know what the point system is going to be next year? On top of that, you have Roger coming back, so crawling up even into the top 2 will take some help. Medvedev might do it but I think it will take much of next year, unless he gets help.

the frozen ranking thing is why I can not do a calcuation, like last year, but anyway I think that you said here is right nadal is most likely and if medevev does do it its going to be like at WTF or something like that both nadal and djokovic would have to slip up for it to happen.
