An all-Russian match between the two friends. This will be their 3rd meeting overall and Medvedev has a 2-0 H2H lead over Rublev.

Both players are playing spectacular but I pick Medvedev in 3 maybe 4 sets over Rublev. While Rublev has a great firepower especially from the forehand side, Medvedev's baseline prowess will be too much for Rublev to handle. In addition, Medvedev can go offensive when he wants to and that will make Rublev run around a lot, which is not his repertoire.

In a titanic battle I'm picking the upset, Rublev, in five arduous sets, unfortunately the winner will be exhausted and easy pickings for Team Theim.

Well said. I‘m going with Medvedev in 4.

And thank for creating the poll! :)

Well we can add another violent racket destroyer to the list: Rublev.

Ugh, such a meltdown from Rublev. That had shades of Federer-Djokovic.

Calmer russian won the 1st set in TB. Rublev wasted 6:3 lead and was furious after. No wonder why.

Not just 6:3, but 5:1.

Medvedev is smart tactically. As the announcers pointed out, he just pulled back after Rublev double-faulted and let the fiery one lose the set.

Well Medvedev medicated Rublev but Andrei displayed some great stuff. Meds was mentally unflappable.

You're on fire with the headline writing these days! I was pretty concerned until half way through that first set TB. Then I was worried about his fitness. But he's through! Glad for Rublev going so far, though, too.

Hopefully I won’t get censored and my post won’t be deleted for saying this, but you are getting way ahead of yourself. I like Medvedev’s game but his serve is shaky and he can be way too defensive at times. He has a long way to go before becoming #1, especially with Djokovic being as good as ever. Djokovic isn’t going anywhere.
