He’s definitely in the top 10 all-time nobody is denying that. But he should have around 12 slams not 20. Just like Steffi Graf should have around 16 and not 22. The difference is in Federer’s case it’s just pure luck that his parents didn’t wait an extra 5 years to have him, so it’s not his fault. Still we have to analyze not only quantity but also quality.

How can you cop to the notion that Federer is actually one of the all-time greats, and at the same time try to diminish him by saying that it was about luck? Look, I get it...race to the GOAT finish. I would agree with that. Unfortunately Roger has never beaten ND at the Australian Open before and if the latter wins in a four hour epic tonight, he would get weary and less time to recover for friday semifinal.
