Let's bear in mind that Admins are probably only just getting up in the USA and might not read this thread for a while.

We should be able to police ourselves really, so here is a suggestion.

Keep the tennis sections free of political/medicinal theories and keep these in off-topic, where it's more of an "anything goes" environment. There's plenty of scope in those threads to push theories, arguments and opinions. If you check them out, you'll see it's a pretty aggressive section:

I thought I'd make a thread where we can all discuss news and current affairs happening in our world today. Post news links, share opinions, etc. I think Ukraine is one of the biggest talking points at the moment. For those who don't know, Ukraine has been in a state of uprising since...

Be mindful that medical personnel are under the cosh right now, some might just want to visit a tennis forum to get away from hassle and talk about stuff other than medical theories. It is a tennis board after all. Telling somebody they are in for the money, after they have come home after a mammoth stressful shift might just hit some raw nerves. Likewise, a ton of people are going stir crazy.

What do you think? It would be nice to have a little community to come back to when this is all over... let's not kill each other in the meantime. (other than the off-topic threads, where slaughter is acceptable)

I can only speak for myself, I do not want to kill anybody.
The medical stuff goes around for a while in this ATP General Thread. So I thought it’s ok to join. Since Mile and I brought in different opinions/aspects, some went crazy.
As long as everyone is treated equally, everything is fine.

It makes absolute sense to put this stuff out of the tennis section.

Thanks Baron.........as I work in a COVID 19 hospital at present,where Doctors and Nurses are getting Spat On,on a daily basis,I do not need the condesending attitude of these 2 posters period, Mile and Bonaca..To be told 'they are in for the money' is a ignorant statement period.

Fiero knows the game of tennis. I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't already taught the game at a maybe the college level.

However.if you find Andy entertaining.. that good..He seems to have a lot to say.

I don't find Andy entertaining either, he always talk too much and I never liked his game, he had only a good serve.....but I don't think Fiero knows too much about the game but you can tell for whom has more sympathy and not so much and it was one of the reason I blocked him because he never says something reasonable, nice and interesting

I was not a fan of his game, but he has a wicked and clever sense of humor. He'll make a great commentator.

Wow. That one slipped under the radar. Kokkinakis seems to be plagued with misfortune. Talented guy, I hope he gets a reasonable injury/virus-free run to re-establish himself.

I know now the real reason why he did not play at the AO 2020 this year.Agree,the kid cant seem to take a break where injuries or sickness are concerned.
