Also, Robert Farah of Colombia, #1 doubles. I believe he said it was in something he ate.
I read both Jarry's and Farah's explanations. They seemed pretty consistent. Farah's point is also based that the level found on him is consistent with level (extremely low) of anyone consuming Colombian meet.

Jarry blamed a vitamin supplement made in Brazil. Well, I believe him...

That’s disappointing. I like that team. I read he tested negative as recently as Shanghai, and claims the banned substance is often used in meat in Colombia. Why eat that meat, then?

I dont believe any of them and frankly no one should. If you research people accused of doping they always claim their innocence. How the hell are they all innocent? Easy....they're not. Food and vitamins don't contain steroids....

Contador and his contaminated steak bs.. Seriously. These people are embarrassing. Man up and admit guilt. You were caught out. That's all there is to it.

Besides, any athlete with half a brain tests vitamins or supplements before using them.

I get your point, Front, but in Farah's case, if it is actually true that his level is indeed low, and also the same as any regular Joe consuming that meat (probably just above the threshold), in that case the defense makes sense. Of course, offenders are expected to lie in their own defense, but it is not impossible that sometimes someone is caught up by accident.

Nothing is Impossible but chances are very, very slim imo. When you play to win and have a hell of a lot to lose your natural reaction is to lie when caught. I don't believe any of the doping excuses people come up with.
