Nyah, Matteo was just choking like a dog! Been there; done that! The MP w/ the DF that almost hit the bttm of the net "proves all!"

Just because the nerves get to you doesn't mean you weren't also exhausted. It was a 4 hour match, very physical, in really humid conditions. Berrettini is 10 years younger than Gael, so he was the fresher, and will also bounce back, but it's rather unkind to pretend that anyone wouldn't have suffered physically in that match. Then put the stakes on top of it....

When I retire in the decades ahead I will retire to wherever the hell I want and can afford. I decided a long time ago to be a single mingle women and have loved that life for my 42 years.

I think this may actually be the most entertaining of the four quarterfinals.....I had not seen Berretini before this tournament but I was impressed by some of what I saw against Rublev.

I see a very possible 5-setter here. I won't be disappointed to see either win. I just hope they don't destroy each other and not leave much energy for the guy Federer should have beaten multiple times in RG finals but did not.

Called the five-setter, and shout out to Anonymous Fan, herios, and The Grand Slam for agreeing.

The good news though is that Berretini looks to be very fit and should be in good shape for Friday. He looked tired at the end of the match but not physically devastated as though he needs a week off to get himself right either. He should be ready to go.

Unfortunately I was not able to watch, nonetheless, delighted to see the outcome.
I predicted a win in 4, it went to 5, but what is important is that he pulled it off.
Matteo is, beside Medvedev, the second best story of this year as far as breakthrough.
