I haven’t seen Grigor play a single point this tournament, but given the head to head, with Dimitrov only ever winning two sets in seven matches, this should be an easy win for Fed.

As much as I think Fed wins this, I am hoping after the early evening blowout tonight that this one is a tight match.

Dimitrov resurrected himself here. From what I heard he played nearly perfect match against De Minaur and didn't screw up a single thing there. That's encouraging part for him coming into this match, but H2H should discourage him too. Is he still wearing that thin head bandana?

McEnroe says Dimitrov tosses the ball too far up to the left on his serve. Not sure what that means, but Dimitrov drops his first service game. Roger is rushing him, and Grigor is so not ready for this.

This could be an early night for all of us. I'm cueing up my Netflix movies.

If this was a beauty contest Dimitrov would trash Federer 6-0, 6-0, 6-0. But this is tennis and so far Dimitrov can’t even put a ball back in play.

Tennis is neither a beauty contest in the face or in the game. Frankly, Grigor wins neither. He ain't that cute. And just because Roger's game is pretty, it isn't always the best, or most effective. Folks need to realize that "beautiful doesn't necessarily = best."

Grigor is not playing bad, just a slow start, but if every set plays out with an early break for Fed then yeah, better watch some movies

So so match in the beginning, but the quality is slowly improving.

Federer seems to be already in saving energy mode. As I write this he is passed for 30 all.

Better effort from Grigor, but not to much affect yet.

Yes, Grigor is more handsome than Fed. The quality of their tennis is not dissimilar. It’s beautiful to watch.

Mediocre stuff from Fed so far mostly off the forehand. Hope he can relax and open up if he gets this first set.

Genius volley from Federer -- Dimitrov already did one very good a few games ago as well.

Take for example Anna Kournikova. She was obviously beautiful and she did not even come close to what she was suppose to achieve.

It’s like identical twins playing against each other, one being a lot better than the other.

It feels good to finally watch some USO matches. Yeah fun last point, heavy hitting.

Dimitrov telling Federer that he will actually need to play on the second set.
