Well. Nadal still too good. Doesn't give away enough points. Thiem still a lot to learn and improve. But... maybe only here. Against Nadal. Elsewhere, even against Nadal, a lot of Nadal's advantages here would be non existent or at least muted or less effective. So on other surfaces, Thiem may be able to win.

Though, on other surfaces Djokovic or Fed would be able to deal with him better. As well as Zverev and Tsitsipas and other guys.

DarthFed yes, but thats because Nadal, Djokovic and Murray were peaking. if there was a five year junior out there at their talent level who was 26 at the moment, they would be just as irrelevant as Roger appeared then
