haha yeah. Pity the clown couldn't do it after breaking last set. He's so predictable

probably drop seve again next time round and then before you know it, he's down 3-1

I've always felt Nadal's backhand is good. Or at least not bad. But it just seems to be getting better. Wilander talking about it. So I can't take credit for the thought.

What's to stop Nadal from winning the next 3-4 RG's. There currently are no good young clay counters aside from maybe Thiem

But credit for him to improve a shot that was already pretty solid.

@Moxie, how has he a good serve when he failed to hold serve twice? Once while ahead. He may serve a few aces but overrall his serve is not good if he can't hold

DarthFed I actually feel like all these guys are swelling. Thiem is, for one, still in this match. At least at this moment.

The only one to beat bull here is Novak, maybe, but the highest chances.

But also I think Zverev has shown he's very good on this surface and eventually he'll be a very serious threat to anyone here. Including Nadal.

Thiem is overrated, his game troubles Novak more, and when he plays bad he wins.

Swelling how? Zverev got blown out, I don't think Khach will become a consistent threat here and even Tsitsipas lost to a washed up Stan

Disagree about that one. Zverev won’t be on Thiem’s level, nevertheless Nadal

Tsitispas is obviously another good choice. Garin had a great year this year and just ran into Stan here too early, after a long clay season for him.

Stan is far from washed up. And he's so strong these days that I think Tsitsipas wasn't ready to deal with it yet.

The second tier will become their titles, only because of decline of the great 3

I'm still not convinced the Next Gen guys ever become good, they are closer to Nishikori and Raonic than they are to the Big 3
