What a way to win it! And, while Berrettini is a very pretty new face, spare a moment for Sousa, who is a very handsome man.
I truly enjoyed it.

I do not disagree. I just had an image of Rafa in bed in his hotel room eating popcorn...Who cares? This is an awesome match.
We will see. I have an uncanny knack for predicting good fortune for many.Must have been a pretty decent win for Fed as Pouille can play pretty big. Now it's time to take out @kskate2 pretty boy. Roger can't let this pin up take away his glory.
3 life and death matches down, 4 to go!
Polish up that crystal ball, Missy! We will see. I have an uncanny knack for predicting good fortune for many.

Sure he can. He's done it before. His time will come. Roger needs to protect the legacy. Can't lose to a nobody.
You know I could give 2 farts about your boy's legacy when it comes to my pinup. His time will come. Roger needs to protect the legacy. Can't lose to a nobody.

Besides, Matteo is not a nobody.
His career will never have been "underwhelming" by any stretch of the imagination, or anyone's measure, except possibly yours.Well Roger's legacy hasn't been on the line like this before. Maybe the most important tournament of his career. He could quickly go from amazing career to underwhelming if he is passed up in majors. If he embarrasses himself before the finals it may be the end and time to give it up.
Well if winning a slam is your criteria, all the more reason I will root for him. It's not our fault Fed's legacy is in jeopardy. He's had countless slams to increase his lead and has laid numerous eggs.He is until he wins a major. It won't be here, Roger needs to get him and the QF opponent out of the way quick. Then be ready for absolute war the final weekend.

I don't think it's a "feminine" view of legacy (I don't think we're talking about competition.) It's a rational person's view. Roger's all over the record books and will be forever. There is no obscurity in his future. Your view isn't a "masculine" view, it's the hysteria of a rabid fan.Heh this is a very feminine view of competition. Roger for this era has a deficient number of MS events. Obviously that means little compared to majors but he doesn't want to end up with a deficient number of those. Otherwise he is what? A guy who was #1 for awhile and very dominant in his prime.
