I looked him up, he was already 20 when he had his debut in a main draw of any ATP event.
He debuted at Nice in 2016 on clay in the first main draw
At the USO in 2016 he lost in the first round of qualifications.
All you can say that he is a fast learner.

Nadal is playing poorly, it’s 4-4 only because medvedev is not attacking.. djokovic would’ve destroyed nadal in this first set the way nadal is serving and hitting the ball.

Medvedev needs to be a lot more offensive, nadal’s poor play is keeping this from being one sided.

Yeah, Nadal got this tournament in the same moment Novak retired.
Daniil isn’t an offensive player, he couldn’t change his game that much and play constantly on a high level. That’s what Nadal benefits mostly . No one could go the long way with him, except Novak. And no one could play high level attacking tennis like Roger.
