Predictable lull for Djoker. The question is whether RBA can run out the set.

Djoker needs to be careful. This isn't a guy he wants to allow to build up a head of steam given their recent history.

This is true but he will need to keep up the crappy play for this to get interesting. Probably the same for the final too, the Djoker of the first set is pretty unbeatable on this stuff.

RBA has stepped it up though. Some nice rallies in that last game.

Looking a bit windier out there than normal for centre court.

Commentators, Cahill to be specific, correct that RBA just getting better depth, more consistently this set. And Djokovic hasn't been able to deal with it well. He's dealt with it ok though. And he's irritated. The crowd noise pulling him out of focus. And he's missing more. And he's still only down a break that RBA likely only got because Djokovic's string broke. So still not too much to worry about for him. Though I'd love to end up being wrong about that. Hopefully RBA can keep this up and first get this set. But also push Djokovic after this set as well.

Either way, you can see how RBA has beaten Novak in best of three twice this year. He just keeps plugging away. Gets better as the match goes on. Doesn't mind losing a set. Knows what he's up against and trusts himself enough to trade blows with Djokovic. And. This is how confidence works. You beat Djokovic twice in a year and then get a favorable draw at a slam and suddenly you're making your first slam semi. After making your first slam quarter at the AO (l. Tsitsipas in 4 sets).

Not often you see Djokovic being the less patient player in long rallies.

I don't think they say his name right, btw. In the US, they all say "a-GOO," as if it were French. But in Spanish you would pronounce the T, no? "a-GOOT." I think. @Carol ?

That's a really good hold there from RBA. Novak getting into the points. But RBA coming out better more often than not.

Took til 1 all in the 3rd set for either player to serve a double fault. Djokovic serves the first one. Up 30-love.

Djokovic hates the applause when it's for the other guy, but asks for it when he hits the big winner. What a putz.

Rally of 45 shots. RBA just pushing everything back and Novak taking no chances, but making the bhdtl winner in the end.
