Goodness me Pliskova you are like a 'sitting duck' on court.....Osaka passing you at will, wrong shot selection coming into the net? Brain Fail

This is some fantastic tennis from both ladies right now. Osaka playing incredibly well. Slightly better. But Pliskova finding a way to match her. She's currently willing to do the work to win the set. No matter if that means a tiebreak. No matter if it means she fails. She's gonna leave it all out there.

Naomi loses focus and drops the set. Now it's survival of the fittest for one set to get to the final

I feel like Osaka needed to slow down there in that service game. She lost that so fast. She needed to breathe, collect herself, and go again. She's aware that she's not being the positive self she wants to be and she's letting that bother her more than just buckling down and focusing. But after all of those shots. She just moved over and served again. The shot clock does make it an issue where you don't have as much time as you used to. But she could still take a moment. I don't know. May not have made a difference. And in the moment, it's hard to come out of it and break the rhythm. Though I think it's something she'll learn with time.

Osaka producing too many ufe towards the end of the second set, needs to watch her margins, dosent need to hit the corners of the court all the time
