I did not bother to watch the match but am happy that Kevin finally prevailed. I won't bother to watch the second SF either as Nadal and Djokovic match-up bores me to tears especially re. their stalling and time wasting tactics.

Why do you think so mate?
You mean about the roof? They have announced it.

As for bad news for Rafa. Novak is the only player I fear as a Fed fan indoors. It has to be advantage Novak no?

By the way... to the Rafa fans. I said "thank goodness" not because I wish Rafa bad luck, but because it would be idiotic not to close the roof because the light will fade. It makes no sense to start a match know there will be a break

Even Anderson was talking about changing the rules. He sounds a wreck. Very nice words for Isner.

Maybe. If Djokovic serves well, then the roof will make a difference.

Why can't they re-schedule the second sf to tomorrow ?

I think with indoors tennis it's more than just the advantage the better server has. You get a cleaner strike as well. The less wind is a factor the higher Novak's chances surely are

and leave one half only having one day of recovery? I doubt this match will take less than 3 hours. As things stand it's a fair bet they'll have to continue tomorrow as there's the 11pm cut off. I wonder if the organisers are scrambling for special dispensation from the local authorities. But Henman is already saying that the 11pm curfew still stands (and he's one of the authorities at the All England Club)

Congrats to Anderson!

He was clearly more into Big John's serve than the other way around in the 5th set. He had so many BPs while John did not get a sniff. So, it is fitting that he won.

Also, when was the last time a Fed beater won the next round in a slam.

that's an even worse scenerio. Play part of the match and complete the rest of it tomorrow. One could argue the merits of having a final set tiebreaker installed at say 8 games all as it's just not fair on the players who have to wait and follow on.
