Hard-fought hold for Kei first game of the 2nd set.

Federer looks a bit off in the second set. He is losing rallies that he should not.

He can maybe get away with this bullshit vsAnderson and Raonic/Isner but if he's playing Rafa or Djoker...no way. Those guys have a long history of taking advantage of Roger's walkabouts.

Only winning 75% first serve points is atrocious vs someone like Anderson. Is he serving meatballs?

He may not even survive against Raonic with those lapses.

His first serve declined a little in the second set, but Anderson was able to get a couple of good forehand returns directly from Roger's first serves.

Jeepers! The hysteria guys. I think the problem is that he sees Anderson across the net and just doesn't feel like he needs his best. That changes if he gets through this. He knows he can't do that against the trees, or Rafa/Novak/Delpo

You can't really do that period on grass. It's not just that he got broken it's that he was up 6-2 and had deuce on Anderson's first service game and now all of a sudden it's a match. Against Mannarino it was 6-0 and 0-40 and it got a lot tougher. He's got to have killer instinct and keep his foot on their throats.

Federer is missing forehands too. I suspect he is annoyed at being put on court 1.

Anderson seems to be gaining confidence. 0-30 Federer serving.

I can't even blame it being on court 1, not after you come out with a 6-2 romp.

Does anyone actually believe that Federer cares he's not on CC today? Or is there a practical difference in the courts?

I'd imagine yes to both. Him being upset by it doesn't matter but the latter part does, I highly doubt both courts play exactly the same, usually there will be slight differences.

Anderson is returning Federer's serve well in 2nd set.

Everyone else has to make adjustments to playing on different courts throughout the fortnight. I'm sure Rog can handle it.
