Zero.
Lol, what? Are you implying Roger likes very slow and high bouncing surfaces?
Zero.
My point is that he misses very easy forehands and looks a bit slow in his movement.Exactly my point. Better not to bother with long rallies and outpositioning Nadal.
You have to understand Gilbert's agenda. He wants Fakervic or Nadull in the final preferably dull to stop Federer. He knows Gulbis will be a bigger threat to faker than bendikori so he wants him in the QF.
Gilbert absolutely hates Federer. A true dulltard "pundit".
I fully expect Vesely to raise the anti and give a fight in second set.
Back up - Brad Gilbert hates Roger? He's certainly obsequious and deferential enough to him on ESPN - especially when Roger comes on for an in-person interview. Or maybe Chris McKendry is just kicking him under the table?. What have I missed? Surely he's not still stuck on Roger beating Andre like a drum and Andre firing him and hiring Darren Cahill, is he? Does he hate Cahill, too?
BTW - Truly comedic ESPN moments for me is watching Gilbert and Johnny Mac pretend to be nice to one another. Maybe they can invite Ivan Lendl on to do a guest spot with the two of them.
This guy has no hope on this crap. Only chance was taking the first set.

I haven't been around in a while, but is this what we're doing now..'cuntdal' and 'maggot'? Thought we were going to stick with the tennis in these forums.
He does show his Federer dislike but it is kind of veiled. I remember last year, after Fed won Wimbledon, he made a statement about how Fed had been lucky, and Carhill replied that Brad has been saying that for Roger's other 18 slam titles.Back up - Brad Gilbert hates Roger? Fed would not have won a single of his matches against Nadal at RG even in those conditions. Nadal is in another league on clay. Djokovic might have stood a chance in a few matches he played there against Nadal, notably that 5setter in 2012 or so.Lol, what? Are you implying Roger likes very slow and high bouncing surfaces?
I agree. J. McEnroe is the best analyst if you exclude his hyperbole.Cahill is the only commentator in that quartet of Jmac, Pmac,Fowler and Gilbert that I pay attention to for analysis. Love JMac's accent and voice though, nice commentator if you can get past his bias.
