Makes for an interesting final. I didn't have much hope in Keys if she'd got through. We've got a "live" final - should be good.
Madison is such a one dimensional player, once she got outhit she had no clue what to do, no plan b. She seems to posses little tennis smarts.
I thought the same thing as I was watching the match. She just kept doing the same thing, but Osaka did everything better. Osaka plays with such calm, she makes it loom easy out there.

Osaka’s parents are still married. I was surprised to see her mom. All this time, I thought the woman in blue next to Bajian was her mom. Is she Sasha’s girlfriend?

The tennis organization supported her. The general populace does not. She is viewed as an American.
Osaka barely speaks the language. Japanese people are one of the worst English speakers in the world. They can’t relate to her.
