Lebron with the aid of Tristan Kardashian’s assistance may sweep the Raptors.. i bet the Canadian fans and that weak kneed team all have soiled their panties in anticipation of his arrival next this week.
Well Lebron may be Thanos to that team..Derozen shouldnt be allowed on the team bus..he should be told to catch a LYFT ride back to to the hotel.

They give the ball to Green who can't hit free throws in the playoffs when you have Korver and then they don't advance the ball after the last timeout. I sometimes wonder if Lue tries to sabotage his own team.

I love Hubie, I think that guy would watch and commentate on bball 24/7 if he could.

Seeing the Ibaka foul live on LeBron it looked like a bad call but he did jump forward into him. Late whistle but it was the right call.

I thought he was pretty good, the young Warriors developed well under him. They got older, added Eagle and others and that helped push them over the edge. Problem with Jackson is that he's an asshole, I bet he'd wear out his welcome in a few years no matter where he goes.

And I don't see anyone burying those guys long-term. They've had a bad series, just part of the growing pains. And if they win the LeBron sweepstakes they are probably making the finals for a long time coming. Simmons will be tremendous and EmBiid a definite superstar if he stays healthy (a big if)

You're not on Twitter I guess. NBA Twitter is REAAAAAAAAAAALLY laying it into the Sixers.

Re: Mark Jackson, there was long article about how he alienated almost literally everyone at the Warriors except the players. Like there were legitimately over 100 guys in the organization who hated him.

As far as his coaching ability, the Warriors played extremely stagnant basketball under him. They were OKC-lite (at the time). Stagnant ISO basketball.

NBA commentary is mainly awful (the TNT crew except for Kevin Harlan are particularly terrible), but Dorris Burke and especially, Hubie are fantastic.

Well yeah the internet is cruel, I'm not on Twitter but I often read the ESPN comments and of course there are a bunch of trolls on every article. Anyone who gets hype will get a lot of haters, probably no athlete I've ever seen gets as many haters as LeBron, at least in this country.

I hear you about Jackson, he is difficult and he was 100% fired because of that. I don't remember them being so much an ISO team, they were really run-and-gun and considered the most exciting team in the NBA even with all those guys in their early 20's. They didn't play any defense, the addition of Iggy, and the development of Green and Thompson helped big time on that end of the floor. I wouldn't hate if the Bucks signed him, unfortunately there aren't great possibilities out there.

That's interesting. I've always been under the impression, from Kerr's comments, that he inherited the strong defensive set up instituted by Jackson

I dived more into the stats and it seems you are right. They went from average on defense in 2012-2013, when they first made the playoffs and lost in round 2 to the Spurs in 6 games, to very good on defense the following year 2013-2014 when they lost first round to Clippers. That was the year they got Iggy and Draymond was in his 2nd year and getting a lot more playing time so it makes sense. Looking at their scoring differential they should've been a lot better in 2013-2014, must have lost a lot of close games which badly hurt their seeding.

Their offense was above average both years but not like we know it now of course. How much of that is going from Jackson to Kerr is up for debate because the team was very young under Jackson. The guys developed and they added a few more pieces (not even mentioning Durant)

They went from dead last in the league in terms of passes per possession under Jackson to first under Kerr. It's night and day.

Do they keep that type of stat online somewhere? Not doubting your memory, just wondering for the present times. I am shocked that it was that bad, they were the young and exciting group that first year they made the playoffs, kind of the talk of the NBA even though everyone knew they weren't true contenders yet. I didn't remember them playing that much ISO ball. Curry in college and his first couple years in the league was kind of a one-man band, that'd be a factor in that too. He was used to playing hero ball.

Warriors putting their foot down early, the birds will have to weather the storm and start chipping away or this could be like Houston-Utah game 3

that's hilarious. Warriors tried their alley-oop that was firmly denied by Brow. But AD is putting down single handed dunks

I could see that coming in the last game. Green has been chirping at the refs all series.

NO chipped away a bit, first 6 minutes of the 3rd decides whether this truly gets tight though. Kind of expect the Warriors to come out strong again and put them away.
