What a joke, wasn't expecting this kind of meltdown from Del Po. Congrats to Ralphy on #11. Time for Fed to get back to work.

I have to think that he did do something to his back or hip. This set is completely different from last, though Rafa is swinging pretty freely now.

Serious question: do you think its actually feasible to do what Nadal is doing on purpose? Struggle the first few games, give the opponent hope, then when its crunch time, you step on the gas. I've seen it many times before with this guy.

No, he just raises the level of intensity when it matters. It's been his signature note throughout his career. There were a couple of years where I felt he lost that edge but seems to have recovered it.

This match has become a procession now.

Pretty crazy the way the match has turned out after that 9th game on Rafa's serve at 4-4. DP just completely fell off a cliff.

What a total abomination. I couldn't have imagined this rotten mess. It'll be a great day when this moonballing cancer of tennis retires and leaves this beautiful game alone. Horrible chap.

That was a pretty straight forward 4 set match. Nothing too special.

JMdP wont the first 6x1 (but, even with that score line, it was a battle). Than he lead by a break in the second. Then in the fourth he was two breaks behind, I guess, and fought back to even it, and then finally lost it. It was nearly five hours or more. For sure not straight forward. Maybe we are talking about different matches, this one is in 2011, if I am not mistaken.
