I've softened up on my Novak hate over the years, but one thing I absolutely cannot stand is how he exaggerates his grunts on big points (way after he strikes the ball) to the point where it must be legitimately distracting for his opponent.

I'd almost expect this level of irony from Carol. This doesn't bother you with your guy?

The only time i remember novak being down two sets to love and still winning was the 2011 US open sf.

I'm not sure you understood what I'm referring to. Nadal just grunts. Djokovic has that grunting thing he does especially while retrieving on a key point, in which he starts grunting like he's legitimately getting whipped or tortured, and he extends the grunt way after hitting the ball.

Nothing beats Ferrer though. When he really needs to dig deep he starts grunting with a delay, just when the opponent is about to hit the ball.

I'm sure he's done it more than that one time. There was some weird RG match vs. Seppi that went 5. Not sure he was down 2 sets to love though.

At around 11:50 in the video. Please tell me when has Nadal ever done that. And that wasn't even one of Novak's worst grunts.

just came in when Cecchinato got the point penalty code violation. Why did he get punished?

Yeah the seppi match is another one, good call.

He’s done a few 2-1 down ones. Tsonga at rg and cilic at Wimbledon.

I know what you're referring to and yes Novak does that. But Rafa, while not as frequent an offender as Ferrer, does occasionally grunt after he strikes the ball as well. And overall he is loud as hell. Just in principle I think it's a bit rich for a Nadal fan to criticize anyone else's grunting.

What is Fedals record on being down two sets?

I know Nadal lost a match being up two sets but can’t remember the other way around.

I don't think anyone can beat Granola's grunting. Very loud and obscene.
