Potro gives his best effort when playing for his country. I hope he isn’t too tired to make this an exciting match. The backhands of both players may be a determining factor.

Such a shame that Delpo's 2009 backhand isn't around anymore. That said it looks a lot better than it did last year. Sadly it looks like it's going to be a cloudy but hot day tomorrow. Sunday's a different matter though. Think there'll be lots of rain. Come on Thiem! Get that Guga-backhand going

Schwartzman was getting plenty of support from the crowd. Not sure if it's an Argentinian following or the crowd rooting for the underdog. Maybe a bit of both but I suspect the latter.
