Bad 3rd set for him though and Roger seems a little more dialed in since the TB. I like the fact that it seems he has more gears available and he's smart enough to know he can't play uninspired for most of a set and hope to win it against better competition.

Fucs wasn't playing like much of an undercard though. I don't like agreeing with Nekro but this guy does seem better than his ranking.
I hear you on that. "Marci" (as I guess they call him?) playing with a lot of maturity and composure. But I still say the TB tends to go to the vet.

Not to crap of Roger or anything like that...but...why is he taking 2 hours to play matches that would only take 90 minutes if brought at least his B+ game from the start? This felt like a glorified 2 hour practice session where he worked on some thing for his next match against Berdych. No offense to Fuscovics, but not once did I get the feeling Roger was even in danger of losing his serve let alone a set or the match.

Sandgren up the early break on Thiem.

Not that Djokovic needs any more motivation...but if Sandgren wins Nole will go through Chung like hot knife through butter, then breeze past Sandgren into the semis. He'll be fresh as a daisy while Roger has to deal with Berdych...again...

yes he's Marci....

Grats to Fed and his fans....

Fucsovics needs more matches with the top guys that's all.... He has big ambitions and this tourney gave him huge confidence boost....

He used to be called "party baron" here that's why he got here only now, but unlike Gulbis, he won't go back to his old ways for sure....

This tattoo or whatever it is suits him well, even if it was moronic to put it on his body :p

It’s says ‘forgive me for my sins’ it’s in English actually;)
I've just never seen a close-up. That's rather hair-shirt. Not quite as good as the Wawrinka one.

Advice to Chung: don't rally with Novak.

imo he's pissed for the wasted years too...... anyway, i'm now happy he takes tennis seriously again...

Meanwhile Chung looks good against Djoko, at least in the first set...

Hope Djoko can get into top form again, it was foolish from him too to get into lowlife bullshit like infidelity stuff, you mess up your private life and your sports life will suffer too...... but ofc it's easy to talk from the outside

Not a fan of the tattoo? His says "Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. "

Here's my question: the commies keep saying that Djokovic's camp tells him, when in doubt, go into "lock-down mode." Can someone tell what that might be, other than just playing better?
