What's a up with Sascha Zverev? He can't seem to take out players in his own age group. Maybe he'll pull the match out...but it ain't looking good right now...
Maybe he just isn't as good as everyone wants him to be.

Very disappointing from Zverev...I thought he had a better head than this. But credit to Chung, who's been very sturdy.

AZ’s ranking is misleading. He should be top ten, but not top five. He got points from wins over injured players. He will have to accept a slight slide down the rankings before building himself up.

Seems he doesn't have the legs for long haul matches yet. Fifth set bagel.

Just tuned into the Djokovic/Ramos-Vinolas - thought why is Djokovic's arm so pale... Lol, before I realised he's wearing an arm sleeve.

Berd up a set and a break. That is a surprise. What’s up with Potro? Fatigue?

I always thought Kyrgios was better than Zverev, technically speaking. Many people give Zverev the edge over Kyrgios largely because of the latter’s mercurial behavior.

Still a little too much rust for my liking on Djokovic game. Confirmed though that at least the service speed has not suffere as a result of the serve change.

They said at the start that del Potro has some physical complaint...leg, I think.

Happy for Chung. I’ve liked him since I saw him play Wawrinka at the 2015 US open. First last 16 at a slam. This could be his breakthrough year.

Brad Gilbert is a fan of his new abbreviated serve motion, btw.

First set Djokovic 6-2, Ramos is imploding a bit after a few excellent points but Djokovic.

MTO for Djokovic who gets a massage on the left hip front and back. Also, he changed his shoes, which is odd.

Yo guys on Monday Fucsovics-Federer match, a dream come true for me no matter who wins....

TBH Fucsovics has the game to take out Federer, prob is he's a Fedtard, so there's a chance he'll go into fanboy mode, but if he plays at least at 85% and Fed plays average he will beat Fed....

I love how you talk about Fedtards and then proceed to tell us that Roger is basically garbage and should lose to a journeyman if said journeyman plays OK

Novak is playing great despite this apparent hip issue.

I never played anything competitively in my life (and I'm ok with that), but....your second comment is really funny because I have a Master's degree in psychology and part of my work involves mental health counseling.

Always? Always? Now you're showing your ignorance of psychology. First of all, things don't work the same in the minds of folks like you--an amateur athlete (I presume)--or myself--a non-athlete--and folks like Rafa, who is one of the greatest athletes in modern history.

Secondly, your hatred of Rafa is so extreme that it pretty much invalidates anything you have to say about him. You are so biased against him that you cannot see him at all objectively.

Personally I think both are true: Rafa would be happy to play Kevin Anderson (To use @brokenshoelace's example above) and get an easy Slam title, but he would also love to face Roger and get his crown back. It is both.

I suggest you read my post over again carefully. The main point is that if the reward is the SAME people will, or at least should choose the easiest way. If you tell Rafa that you've come from the future and know that he won this AO then absolutely he'd probably prefer that he beat Fed or Nole in the final. Of course the reality is he wouldn't know the result until the final is played. And I can guarantee you he'd much rather have a 95% chance at winning the final than a 50% chance. Same with other athletes in other sports. I mean with your idea you probably think players on the winning NFC team will want to see the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Or that LeBron is happy to see the Warriors in the finals or Olympic sprinters were happy Bolt was around. Sorry but that's crazy.

My hatred of Nadal has nothing to do with it. Same applies for Roger, Novak and basically any athlete who isn't stupid. The prize is the same so why would anyone not want a much higher probability of winning?

I have also said that Kyrgios is a more talented, explosive player. Zverev has gotten the edge because, well, he's #4 and won two Masters last year. But when both are playing at their best, Kyrgios is better.

lol Fucsovics is much better than his ranking suggests..... He's like a mix of Fed, Wawrinka and Djokovic...

He started improving fast last year after fixing his personal life..... So last year i predicted good results for him for this year.....
