Who PCB? Nyah; I think he's a hottie & reminds me of "The Mosquito" who I saw recently looking pretty good after all these years!
No, you said all Spanish players, which would include Ferrer, Verdasco, Lopez, Almagro, Ferrero, etc. So that theory would presume that the Spanish Federation is compensating them for Major matches tanked, right? And presumable further round matches they may have missed? And they can't compensate them for points lost. Plus, who dropped the ball, then, when Verdasco beat Rafa at the AO a couple of years ago? It's a very loopy theory with an unlikely basis in any reality, other than anti-Rafa goggles un-reality.

Great stuff. Nerves of steel by Anderson. Impressive. Shows the world how big man tennis should be played.

He was all nerves in the first set, but he calmed down and gained confidence. It was a fun match. I like Anderson...good for him!

Ah yeah, credit to Busta Rhymes or whatever his name is :p He played very well too but showed his limitations. His dream draw made him look better than he really is as this was really the first match against a quality opponent and he promptly lost. 4 qualifiers and a hobbit and then a giant slew him.

I_Haychew must be over the moon :)
I'm very happy. Thank you! I'm superstitious. I wanted to watch the entire match, but couldn't because of work. I tried to watch whenever I could. Every time I got a chance to watch, he started to suck. So, I said screw it! I'm not watching anymore! Thankfully, he won. And it's all because I stopped watching. Because the world revolves around me, and my actions directly affect the actions of pro athletes, ya know.

That's not entirely fair. I was actually at the Open for his match v. Shapalov. There is a lot to his game, and he has a good mentality. I know Shapo is young and flashy, but with loads of rough edges, but Carreño Busta (his actual name) knew how to play him smart. Weakness is his serve and timidity and intractability with it.

I have a hard time seeing that you even have that much of an opinion about him to dislike him that much. Is it JUST because he's Spanish?

Nope. I don't know from where you are getting an idea that I have something against Spanish folks. Only reason I did not want him in final is that it would be complete walk in the park for Rafa if he were in finals.
