Yeah not really arguing this, but he did straight set him. I think their 2013 match will go down as their best on the dirt in terms of both playing at a high level.

Definitely their best FO encounter. They also had some cracking matches on clay outside of Roland Garros: Hamburg 2008 (they were battling for the number 2 spot in the ranking), Monte Carlo 2009 and Madrid 2009 were absolutely incredible (especially the latter), while Rome 2011 might be their most underrated match on any surface due to the straight set nature of Novak's victory. I honestly think, without exaggeration, it was the I've ever seen Novak play anywhere (I still think 2011 was Novak's best level in terms of pure tennis, not just results). There was also a great final they played in Rome that went the distance (2014?).

Isn't it obvious, it's about Moxie's hurt feelings over the 2017 AO draw. Clearly Roger had it easy in becoming the first guy in 35 years to beat 4 top 10 players en route to winning a slam
It wasn't about my "hurt feelings" as to the draw, or the outcome. I was saying when the draw came out, and in that early draw discussion, that it was an exaggeration to say how tough Roger's draw was. Now that Broken has said all of the same things I said, months ago, maybe you'll believe them. And for the record, I was never comparing Federer's draw to Nadal's.

Roger's draw was Berd, Nishi, Murray, Stan, Djoker/Nadal. By far the hardest draw any of the elite players have had since they were all pups. Now as we said before it was expected due to Roger's low rank so it's not like we were complaining. Rather it just confirmed what we had feared. And the actual path was all those guys except Murray. Fed was the first person in 35 years to beat 4 top 10 players en route to winning a major. That should really say it all.

As for your hurt feelings I remember a few months ago that you were saying Roger was pretty fortunate with the draw. I found the statement laughable especially since you were indicating Nishikori was a pushover due to an injury he had before AO. But then you've also said Stan has had easy draws when he's won 3 slams. I know you hate the Swiss almost as much as I hate your balding bull but it sometimes clouds the vision :)

That's always been one of my favorites. As was the 2011 Madrid final, which is also underrated. Also straights but incredibly tight scoreline and proved Novak could keep his run going on clay against Nadal, even if Madrid is a bit atypical surface wise.

Balding bull had hair transplant. The effects should show by the end of the year. The perks of all that prize money.

I've never said anything about Stan's draws, because I've never even thought about them, so you just made that one up. And I didn't say that Roger was especially fortunate in the draw, that was Christopher Clarey of the NYTimes, whom I quoted. My only point has been that it wasn't as rough as many were claiming due to present (at the time) circumstances. (Tomas Berdych was my other main point. And Nishikori was injured just before the tournament. And after. What's new?) All of which you mostly just ignore, cry out rankings, and put words in my mouth. Oh, and I don't hate those Swiss guys, and certainly not with the kind of bile you hold against Rafa. Why should I? They haven't hurt him nearly as much as he them. Pfft.
