My boy Andrey Rublev up against world #1. Ouch. Well, at least he got his first Slam win the other day. He doesn't have a chance against Andy, but I hope he at least isn't blown out. I expect him to be out in three sets, though. Even though he stalled in 2016, I still have hope he can be a top 10 player eventually, but he's got to rise fast. I could see him being close to the top 50 by year's end.

I don't think Alex De Minaur will beat Sam Querrey, but you never know. Bublik is probably the teenager with the best chance of making it through today.

Stan vs. Johnson, Cilic vs. Evans...some upset potential in both matches.

To me the match of the day is probably Sock vs. Khachanov.

And Roger...he's really got to iron out the kinks today, win in three sets, otherwise he could be demolished by Berdy.

Umm, maybe because Roger is generally considered the greatest player of the Open Era, or at least one of the best three or four? I don't think main court is about rankings as much as it is star-power, and Roger is a far bigger star than Stan.

I agree. As an American tennis fan, I'd love to be teleported to Court 8 for the day. Lepchenko, Isner, Sock, Vandeweghe.

I think Sock will have this one, he is playing better than ever

Anyone know a good free stream? The usual ones I've used aren't working anymore.

However, Stan is a bigger star with the WTA teenagers.:laydownlaughing

Pretty soon Stan will be hanging out with Felix Auger Aliassime, hoping to meet some of his female friends.

Roger held his games very fast usual, mostly love games and an occasional 15. But, he needed as many as 5 or 6 break points to break Noah, who is not too shabby and is not threatened by the Maestero. Let us see whether Noah's resistance vanishes in the remaining sets.

What a battle between MischaZ and Isner. Mischa's been playing like a top 30 player lately.

Roger pulls it off in three sets. I didn't watch the match, but I'm wondering how he played: 48 winners to 41 unforced errors doesn't seem like a great ratio. Sounds sloppy.
