Certainly, if Novak wins this, he first and foremost has to thank the British weather...

Novak had two bad calls in the game in which he was broken. Unfortunately, he was out of challenges to challenge either one. But, there is no conspiracy here. Both of them were in by a fraction of mm.

If he loses, it'll be on Nole himself! I hate calling challenges and they're wrong by a lot! Has this Ump overruled even once though? What is he doing; sleeping? :cover :nono

It is fraction of mm. You overrule, only when you can clearly see the call is wrong.

TB stats look good for Novak.

Novak has 63.5% chances of winning a TB and is career wise #5 among all players, active or not.

Sam has 50% chances of winning a TB and is career wise #150 among all players, active or not.

Hats off to Sam! :clap

Withstood so much pressure and got the job done.

Calendar Year Grand Slam, Golden Calendar Year Grand Slam, Equalling Laver's record of 31 matches in a row, all gone in one stroke. :celeb

Well Roger better put everything into this slam as he probably will never get as good a look at another one than this Wimbledon.

How the hell Djokovic managed to lose that set? He only has himself to blame.

I got accepted into college today ( I know no one gives a flying fu$k, I am just trying to explain the situation) , and a few hours later I find out that Querrey played the match of his life. Wake me up, damn it. This is too good to be true. Roger playing some pretty decent tennis as well. My, oh my.

Did anyone catch the interview with Novak?

They asked if he is going to play Davis Cup in a few weeks, and I didn't catch his response.

His answer to "will we see you before Olympics" was "We'll see."

I don't mind Novak winning but the sense of inevitability with both men and women's grand slams the last few years has been rather boring, more so on the women's side. I miss people like Henin who had awesome variety.

Edit: I think his answer was "no" to the upcoming DC matches.

I love how commentators go from 0 to 60. On one of the ESPNs, the question was ' Is American tennis back'.
Let's get an American in a Masters 1000 or Major Final first and then let's talk.

I don't really get the hype for Fritz yet.

At the moment I am in awe of Sam Querrey's balls.

As to Roger, it's a bit premature. He is 4 weeks shy of 35. He has to get past formidable players like Cilic/Nishikori, Raonic just to get to the final. Then he has to win 3 sets against Andy Murray on the Centre Court. He was two points shy of going 0-2 sets down in the 2012 final.....
